Investigation of feedback and assessment practices in engineering.

This research project will investigate current practices in assessment and feedback across one programme of study within a specific department.  It is intended that this initial investigation will highlight issues of assessment and feedback. It will provide a starting point for action research to improve practice through study of the current practices. This study will also provide recommendations on educational innovation in assessment and feedback practices. An in-depth case study of one programme will enable transfer of this knowledge across other departments.
