Plagiarism guidelines for Civil and Building Engineering Students.
This project will attempt to find a better way of getting students to truly understand plagiarism and how to reference other people's work properly. Plagiarism is obviously becoming a big issue in many Departments in Loughborough and many universities throughout the UK.
Consequently there is a need to develop an interesting and interactive online tool with lots of examples from which the students can work through. It also very much needs to be combined with an online quiz or test facility which can be incorporated into a coursework component of a PART A module, ideally something like the CVA001 Communications module in 1st semester.
