To support and review the implementation of the business simulation Marketplace Venture Strategy in to the Part D Business Management module (TTD201 - Business Model) of the MEng Aeronautical & Automotive Engineering programme. We plan to support Rob Thring and John Grover with the implementation of Marketplace with around 70 students. With the support of Marjahan Begum (Research Associate) we will evaluate the students experiences of the simulation and module using an employability questionnaire, usability questionnaire, focus groups and recorded group discussions. We will feedback the results from the evaluation and also pursue interest in the business simulation from other departments.
We attended the lecture delivered by John Grover on 1 October 2008. The students have been allocated in to groups and we are working with 2 of these groups to record their discussions. An employability questionnaire is being designed and it will be administered week beginning 3rd November and again at the end of semester 1.
We have supported Rob Thring and John Grover with the implementation of the business simulation. Marjahan has held 4 student focus groups to gain their feedback on the module. We attended the student presentations on 9/10 December 2008.
