Placement Practice Project

To produce a placement guide to enhance the placement experience for students, industry and academics within Civil & Building Engineering. 

To meet this aim the engCETL is updating the Industrial Placement Guides for the Engineering Subject Centre and these will be made available (and promoted to placement tutors) and will also be widely available via the EngSC website www.engsc.ac.uk

The Equipe Placement guides were used by Dr Matthew Frost to update his guidance to industry and students.

The guides have since been updated as part of work commissioned by the Engineering Subject Centre and the pdf versions have been sent to Placement Tutors (including Matthew).

This work is being extended through the current project "Best practice in managing Civil Engineering sponsorship and placements"
