I graduated from De Montfort University in 1999, with a combined studies degree in Computing and Chemistry. I then spent 3 years developing bespoke e-commerce sites for online mobile phone and car retailers.

I joined Loughborough University in 2002 as the developer for the mathcentre open in new window project, a catalogue of online mathematics learning and support materials.  On completion of the project I joined the Engineering Education Centre as a web developer in 2003, and have helped produce numerous online tools, applications and websites.  Some past achievements have been ProjectList open in new window an online dissertation allocation system and the development of the online peer-assessment system Web-PA open in new window.  WebPA has subsequently been open sourced and is being used in over 20 UK HEI's and has won a prestigious Bronze Award in the IMS Global Learning Impact Awards (2008).

My most recent project has been working on the redevelopment of the new Co-Tutor system.
